Bulgarian Black sea coast is extremely beautiful, with impressive beaches and mountain ranges. Along its 378 km long ciastline are nearly 70 beaches, with a total area of approximately 9 million square meters. Some of them are large and allow hundreds of visitors to enjoy the warm sun, others are small and peaceful, nestled in the picturesque bay with a stunning landscape. In many places nature have formed steep shores - an ideal place for fans of romance, fishing and diving sports.


The Black Sea water has a low salinity.
This, together with its moderate temperatures in summer (22-24 ° C), makes it especially pleasant for bathing. Tides are negligible.


In the Black Sea flow scenic rivers, whose mouths are surrounded by thick forests and cool humid. Some of them are navigable for small boats and offer visitors unforgettable walks along.  Numerous coastal lakes - lagoons and firths - are heaven for a huge variety of rare plants and animals, especially birds.  In some of them were discovered large deposits of mud, which, combined with hundreds of mineral springs along the coast, Bulgaria ranks among the first places in Europe, qith its wealth of spa resources.

Seaside resorts and villages along the coastline provide endless opportunities for family recreation, active recreation and sport.  Offering includes practicing surfing, water skiing, diving, underwater fishing and underwater archeology and other water sports.  There are also yachting ports in Balchik, Varna, Nessebar and Bourgas. Many routes have been developed for hiking, biking, photo-and ecotourism.
